Stick version of Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm! (and not the one Nuxe makes - it's way better)

I absolutely love the original Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm. It's hydrating, long lasting, and most importantly for someone who hates how shiny lips look on my face, it's matte.

However, my only gripe with the product is that I can't take it with me on the go because it's in a pot. I don't particularly like sticking my dirty fingers in pot lip balms and contaminating the product then touching those fingers to my mouth. I live in Paris, and it's not necessarily the cleanest city.

I tried the stick version of this lip balm that Nuxe makes, and I found it wasn't all that hydrating and it had a lot of shine. Once I finished it, I knew I wasn't going to repurchase.

However, I decided to pick up a pack that had the Caudalie hand cream (also awesome) and lip balm in it. I remember trying the Caudalie lip balm years ago and actually not liking it. It was gritty, not that hydrating, and the taste wasn't that great. They reformulated it though, and my is it amazing!

In fact, it's actually the same thing as the Rêve de Miel pot lip balm, just in stick form. It's thick, matte, and hydrating. The taste is obviously different, but it tastes fine still.

Finger-dipping-hygiene problems solved.

Have you tried the Caudalie lip balm?
