Nail Love: Barry M Gelly Hi-shine in Green Berry

The fourth and final Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint I picked up in London was this number in Green Berry.

I love the color. It's just bright and summery. I think it'll be so perfect on the toes in summer sandals, too.

As far as application goes, it's slightly streaky. I have two coats on in the picture, and honestly a third one wouldn't hurt. It dries in okay time, especially with my hand cream trick. As far as longevity goes, I can't comment. With the Mavala base and top coats (which stink) it doesn't last a very long time (like one day before chipping), but I imagine that with something like the Revlon Colorstay base and top coats it would be fine.

The color is amazing though!

Available at Boots, Superdrug, Top Shop, etc.

Have you tried the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints?

The other three colors I've tried from Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine: Lychee, Prickly Pear, Blueberry.

Review: Sleek Brow Stylist (Medium)

The Sleek Brow Stylist was probably the product I was the most excited to try when I went to London a while back. I'm always on the search for the perfect brow product, and a ton of my favorite bloggers rave about the Hourglass Arch thing. I saw this one, and the shape looked so similar. I thought... Dupe?

Review: Super facialist by Una Brennan (Tea Flower Deep Clean Pore Purifying Clay Mask and Neroli Firming Super Lift Night Cream)

When I was in London Boots was on 3 for 2, so I thought I'd take advantage of that to try out the Super Facialist by Úna Brennan range.

There were a bunch of really interesting products to choose from, but the two that really peaked my interest were the Tea Flower Deep Clean Pore Purifying Clay Mask and the Neroli Firming Super Lift Night Cream.

Bite-sized beauty (what's in my travel toiletry/makeup bag)

Living in Europe, you get the opportunity to take some small weekend trips. With those small trips, you need to pack just as small beauty products. Here are mine that I packed for my weekend trip to Amsterdam.

Nail love: Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine in Prickly Pear

I usually don't go for purple polish, but when I saw this in Boots, I fell in love. The Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine in Prickly Pear is kind of in between a neon and pastel purple, and I think it just looks really flattering on the nails.

I got a few compliments while I had it on as well, which is always nice.

It applies very thinly with some streaks. You need a good three coats with this one in order to achieve opacity and just a smooth looks in general.

Longevity is hard to comment on (yet again, I know) because I'm using a horrible base and top coat at the moment (thanks, Mavala).

I think this color is perfect for spring though, and I'll definitely be breaking it out a lot.

Nail love: Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Blueberry

I love blue nail polish, and I've been kind of looking for a nice light blue one for spring. This gelly hi-shine polish in Blueberry from Barry M definitely fits the bill. It's gorgeous.

It applies a little bit better than the same formula polish in the color Lychee (full review here). In this picture I only have two coats on. Natural lighting.

Again, I don't feel like I can comment on the longevity because I'm not using my normal Revlon Colorstay base and top coats that keep my polishes on forever, but it's still better than the Mavala polishes sandwiched in between the Mavala base and top coats.

You can pick this up at Boots or Superdrug or online.

What are the polishes you're pulling out for spring?
