Review: Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm + full ingredients list

If there's anything that's hyped about in the blogosphere, it's the Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm. Needless to say it was among the first things I added to my basket in the pharmacies here in Paris.

Ladies and gents, I'll have you know it is most definitely worth the hype.

This is one of the most hydrating lip balms I've ever used, and it still has that gorgeous matte finish that works perfectly under lipsticks that might be a little drying. It lasts a good while; when I put it on at night, it's still there upon waking. It tastes nice, too.

My only gripe with it is the packaging.  While gorgeous, I hate dipping my fingers into a pot and then wiping them on my lips. Especially after going through the metro in Paris. This is a lip balm that will probably never leave the nightstand, but dayum is it lovely.

Nuxe make a stick version that I've already tried and thought was average (it's not nearly as good as the pot balm, and it's shiny) but I do believe I have found the stick equivalent of this baby (in terms of hydration and matte-ness) that will be going around the city with me while the pot stays at home. More on that in another post though...

Have you tried this cult favorite? Was it worth the hype for you?
