My ideas for what to get the beauty lover in your life at a bunch of price ranges, links below.
If you're shopping for an eyeshadow lover, especially someone who loves neutrals, this is an amazing palette. It has 12 matte colors and 12 shimmer, all with a great shade range and super high quality. If you're not interested in splurging on the Urban Decay Naked palettes, this is an incredible alternative that you can find at your Target.
2. SEPHORA FAVORITES Lash Stash $45
Sephora brings out amazing kits every year, including their lash stash. It has a full size mascara, a set of falsies, and eight deluxe samples of high end mascaras. This is awesome for people who love to try new things, and the small mascaras are always great for people who travel frequently.
If whoever you're shopping for has been extra good lately, this planner from Trish McEvoy would be a great gift. I have a Trish planner that I use all the time, and I haven't traveled without it ever since getting it. It's expensive, but it's meant to last a long time and really just fits everything. This one comes with a ton of makeup already, including my holy grail mascara, my favorite blush, and more incredible makeup from Trish. Since it does have everything included, it's actually a really good deal, considering the price of the planner on its own.
4. Origins Ornament 2013 $12
Origins makes great skincare, and this is a cute way to try out some of their best selling products. It's really decently priced, too. Great stocking stuffer, this one.
5. Eve Lom Discovery Kit $36
Eve Lom makes really great skincare, and this set has their cult favorite cleanser as well as a mask and cream. This would be a really great gift to introduce someone not only to the brand, but to a good skincare routine as well.
6. REN Rediscovery Radiance Kit $58
REN makes really good and effective natural skincare. This set gives you their famous Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask as well as other products from the same range for a really decent price. This is a set that I think is good for all skin types, and it's definitely a good post-partying treatment.
7. Boots Extracts Selection Box, Mango $19.99
Scent is a personal thing, but I feel like with this mango scent (or the others Boots has, like Cranberry or Cocoa Butter) you can't go wrong. This set has one of my all-time favorite body washes, a scrub, and the body butter.
8. LUSH The Night Before Christmas $49.95
There's nothing like getting a present from Lush for the holidays. They make the most adorable gift sets and bath products, and it's a good gift for someone that really likes to have relaxing baths. This set comes with seven bath bombs (one of my favorite things in general from Lush). My personal favorite from this set is the So White bath bomb that smells like apples, and they also have Twilight which is lavender-y and fantastic, and Avobath, which smells like fruitloops. Not to mention you won't have to wrap it because the packaging is already super cute.
Butter London makes some of my favorite nail polishes, and this set gives you five of them for just $35, instead of $75 if you were to buy separately. It has a bunch of neutral shades you can't really go wrong with. They apply beautifully and last for ages.
As usual, gifts are always a really personal thing. I think a lot of these things would be great for anyone, and they're definitely things I would not mind receiving at all. However, you know who you're shopping for best. With a lot of these, if you're shopping for a bunch of people, I would suggest splitting them up. Also, on these websites, like Sephora or Beauty.com, there are always offers with purchases. Look for discounts on the sites and codes you can add to get free samples/products/shipping/whatever. You could add those to your gift (or keep those to yourself).
Happy holidays, everyone!
