Review: Edward Bess Lip Products*

I was really excited to try out all of these Edward Bess lip products for work. I mean, just look at the packaging. It's gorgeous.

I tried out the lipstick in Deep Lust. It wasn't my favorite color, and it kind of made me look washed out. I do love some of EB's other colors though.

The actual formula is lovely though. It's really smooth, very hydrating, and has decent lasting power. It smells incredible, too, because EB puts fig and other good stuff in his products.

If you like the color, good, because it's pigmented. All without drying out the lips.

Unfortunately, Edward only has one color of lip liner. This color made me look a bit washed out, too.

It doesn't come with too much product, so if you use it a lot, you'll have to replace often.

The liner is well-pigmented, not drying, and stays on for a long time. It keeps what you put on top of it on for a long time, too.

The lip gloss is okay, too. The packaging is beautiful.

Again, not a fan of the color French Lace. It washed my face out a lot. I need warmer colors. If you have pinker skin though, this could look really nice on you.

The formula is pretty sticky.

But it applies well, lasts forever, is very pigmented, and smells amazing.

All in all, if you try something, try a good color of the lipstick. It smells so good and has a great formula. The lipgloss would be good if it weren't so sticky. I wish he would offer the liner in a different color, but if you're layering, I guess it doesn't matter.
