Quick (Makeup/skincare) Update

I've been making little changes with my routine lately, and I'd thought I'd update you guys real quick on how that's working out for me.

Firstly, I've stopped using the Rimmel BB Cream on my face after primer (I just use it on my neck). It was just making my skin too oily and causing my powder to look cakey and break down throughout the day. I just go from primer to concealer to powder.

The Kiko powder, which I mentioned I didn't like in my last haul, looks SO much better when I just put it on after primer and concealer, skipping the BB cream. It's way less cakey now, and it does mattify better. It still comes nowhere close to the Trish McEvoy powders, but after skipping the BB cream, it's a lot better than it was. I'm still a fan of the coverage and color.

I've been using the Garancia Diabolique Tomate Water Cream for a couple days now since I ran out of my Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum. The difference it's already made in my skin is huge. I put it on after toning before my SPF 50 Kiko primer. Not only does it feel amazing when it goes on, turning from cream into water, but it smells amazing, too, and I've been noticing that my skin gets less oily throughout the day, and I barely have to blot anymore. It's so hydrating, but it just sinks into the skin with a matte finish and controls oil. It just makes my makeup look so much better for longer. I don't know how it does it, but it does. I LOVE this stuff and will be getting a full size (I'm just using a deluxe sample) when I get to Paris.

I noticed that the Jasmine perfume oil I've been using is actually air freshener oil, oops, but I'm still using it anyway as it hasn't killed me yet.

My Bourjois Clubbing Ultra Black mascara is starting to dry out, and it flakes a lot and is kind of annoying to apply. It smudges if you don't completely powder the undereye right into the lash line.

I'm realizing how much I use my Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze; I've "hit jar" on it a long time ago, and I actually don't have a lot of it left. I hit jar on Bold Gold, too, but there's still more left of it compared to Bad to the Bronze.

I'm scraping the remains of my Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm stick, so that'll be empty soon. In fact, I have a ton of empties to show you guys, but I'm waiting to finish a few more things that are almost there first before getting to it.

I also ordered a few bits from Target and a lot of things from drugstore.com as a present to myself and as an essentials stock-up before Paris, so look out for a haul soon.

Hope that was helpful or somewhat enjoyable. Let me know if there's something on which you want a full review!
