I have to start off with an apology. It's been a while, lots of stuff has collected, this is going to be a long post, and I took photos as I went so I could recycle my stuff (things look jumbled). Sorry. However, I have some great products to review, so I hope you'll bear with me!

Review: Lancome Audacity in Paris Palette - Such Disappointment. Wow.

I was so excited when I saw Lisa Eldridge's instagram saying that she was making this palette for Lancôme. She's one of my favorite makeup artists, and I thought everything she touched had to be perfect. When the Auda[city] in Paris palette hit the shelves, I ordered it straight away.

This past month I've been quite a floozy when it comes to my skincare. Trying everything. Really. 

Since I haven't had the most steady same-thing-everyday kind of routine, I thought I'd share some of the skincare combos I've been using day and night for the last month. You'll of course notice some favorites though... ;)

Meeting Tata Harper, the coolest woman ever (again)

May was a pretty cool month for me. After having been trained by Natura Bissé at the beginning of May, Tata Harper came to visit the store in which I work a week later. I had met her before a couple years prior, and the second time was no less fabulous. She's an incredible woman.

Review of 3 mascaras: Maybelline The Rocket, Makeup Revolution The Viper, Makeup Forever Smoky Lash Extravagant

I don't know what it is, but lately I've been having the worst luck when it comes to mascara. I've tried a few pretty awful ones recently, and for now, I can't even think about trying new ones. I'll just be sticking to the old faithfuls. Here were the ones that turned me off from trying new mascaras forever (maybe).

I feel like when it comes to the beauty world, I'm a little bit more into the skincare part of it. Makup-wise, I try to keep it pretty simple. I got the Muji 5-drawer a while back (it's amazing), and surprisingly (almost) all of my makeup fits into it.

Best of 2014 - Skincare

2014 was a pretty good year in general. I studied abroad in Paris, I restarted my job as a makeup artist and skincare consultant in a spa close to campus, and I graduated from university! There were also some amazing things I've discovered skincare-wise this year, and I'm pretty sure that's what you're really here for. I've tried many things, but out of all of them, these were what I've most enjoyed in 2014:
