You know what these are by now, so let's just get crackin'.
First up, I finished the Dove Blue Fig and Orange Blossom deodorant. I LOVE this stuff. After trying so many natural deodorants, I just went back to good ol' Dove. It's hydrating, soothing, doesn't leave bad deodorant marks, controls my sweat and odor all day, and this scent in particular is amazing. I love the Plum and Sakura version of this deodorant, but I like this EVEN better. I will be repurchasing most definitely once I run out of the Plum and Sakura Blossom I'm using now (I think I'll alternate between the two). Holy Grail.
I also finished the L'Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil. This stuff really makes hair feel soft and shiny, a little goes a long way, and it smells very lovely. It's even great mixed in with conditioner. I would repurchase this, but maybe after finishing my other stuff or trying something new. If you haven't tried this and are curious though, you'll not regret this purchase.
I finished the Garnier Body Gel-Cream in the honey scent. My host sister works for L'Oréal, and she just gave this to me since they overload her with products. I really like this. It's hydrating without being greasy, and it did smell nice. It's basically the same consistency as the Vaseline Aloe Fresh Lotion. I do like this, but I won't purchase it just because it's hard to find in the states, and I also prefer the scent of the Vaseline lotion.
Next up is the Soap and Glory Calm One Calm All bath suds, but I used it as a body wash because I don't have a bath. This smells really good (this Miss Dior Cherie or Chanel Coco Mademoiselle) and lathers well, but it was quite drying. I wouldn't repurchase, but I don't regret buying.
I then finished the Sugar Crush Scrub from Soap and Glory. I got this from London when I was in Boots. It has rave reviews, so I was excited. The packaging is cute, kitschy, and makes me feel old fashioned. I do have to make sure my water isn't running in the shower though and that I close the lid before I start the tap again so that water doesn't get into the product. Water gets into the product anyway though if you put a wet hand in the container. This could be nicer in a squeeze tube. It's a good consistency to work with. It's not too thick like some waxier scrubs I've used. It's about the same consistency as pudding (just with scrubby bits in). That said, I wish this were grittier. There's not a lot of exfoliation going on with this, so no matter how easy it is to spread, it doesn't do much on that front. It smells so good. Kind of like lime coke or key lime pie. It lingers, too. Heaven. And it doesn't smell like bathroom cleaner, which is nice. A lot of citrus products tend to smell like the toilet. This doesn't. It's perfect. The scrub itself isn't gritty enough to cause pain, but since there's salt in here, if you get this in an open wound, it stings like a biatch. It has no residue. This washes away very nicely, like you just rinsed your body with milk. Niiiice. It doesn't leave the skin oily, yet I still feel hydrated.
Overall: as much as I like it because of the smells and stuff, I wouldn't buy it again since it doesn't do the actual scrub job that well. I need me some more grits.
I also finished the Vichy Idéalia Life Serum, Holy cow. This stuff is perfect skin in a bottle. The whole time I was using this, my skin looked so great. I never had any breakouts (not even hormonal), and if I skipped a night (aka slept over at the best friend's after a night of drinking) and broke out, this cleared it up in a day or two. I would repurchase, but I need to finish up some other things first that are also working very well for me. Full review here.
I used up the Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminée Eye and Lip Cream. I liked this when I was using it, but it didn't really do anything. It lasts a long time and is good for problem prevention, but if you need to correct things, this doesn't really do it. I'm using the Eyesilix from Indeed Labs and I like that a lot better. I wouldn't repurchase this one.
I also ran out of the Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials in Nude. This is probably the only Trish product I'm not obsessed with. I find it was kind of cakey on the lids some days (other days it would be fine - weird), eyeshadow didn't apply that nicely over the top, and it didn't help the longevity of the shadow. HOWEVER, this stuff is good for covering any veining on the eyes, so while I won't repurchase it because it doesn't suit my purposes, if you have discoloration on the lids and don't wear eyeshadow, this is a very good lid concealer. I know a lot of people that love this (it's a VERY popular product in the store I work at) so it might work for you.
I also finished the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill mascara. This stuff didn't last long. Toward the end of the first month, it started getting drier, harder to apply, and flakier. Not worth the money. I have a full review here so you'll know why I won't repurchase.
Last, but certainly not least, is the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. Now do you see that empty jar??? I scraped every last bit out of this thing. I got to the bottom without it drying out on me (I never had to revive it in the microwave or anything), and it was good to the very end. This was basically my everyday eyeshadow for a year straight (takes 5 seconds to slap on), and I've gone on so much about the awesomeness, I'll spare you and just give you a full review here. I would definitely repurchase (but only after I work through my other billions of shadows a bit... hee hee).
What was the last product you finished?
