I've finished up quite a lot of things over the past few months (and there's even more coming, so stay tuned) so we better just hop in before this gets long.
1. Oribe Moisture and Control Shampoo
This was nothing special. For 38 bucks, this should have been magical. However, I didn't like the smell, it irritated my scalp, and it didn't really moisturize or control my hair. Will not repurchase.
2. L'Oréal Ever Riche Absolute Oil
LOVE. Great price, and it made my hair super soft and shiny. I would definitely repurchase.
3. L'Oréal Ever Riche Conditioner
This stuff was good. For the price it really conditioned nicely, and a little bit went a really long way. However, y'all know Free Your Mane has a special place in my heart that no shampoo/conditioner can replace. This just doesn't make my hair as smooth or shiny as FYM, but if I neeeded a super cheap conditioner at any point, I would repurchase this one.
4. It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin
Why this has so much hype is a mystery to me. I felt like this made my hair almost weaker in a way. It added moisture, but no shine. Like it was supposed to be a mattifier or something. It made my hair greasier, too. Not like the actual oil from L'Oréal. This stuff really isn't that great. I got this from my friend, Giedre, because she didn't like it either (she likes the original). I would not repurchase.
5. Lush Flying Fox Shower Gel
This might just be my favorite shower gel form Lush. It smells amazing (jasmine-y), really hydrates and makes skin smooth, and lasts a very decent amount of time. I would repurchase.
6. Dove GoFresh Deodorant in Plum and Sakura Blossom scent
Favorite deodorant. (This and the Blue Fig one). Would definitely repurchase.
7. Pacifica Body Wash in Brazilian Mango and Grapefruit
This goes up there with my favorite shower gels. The scent was amazing, super fresh and grapefruity, the lather was incredible, and it made my skin really soft. I would repurchase and highly recommend this (I already have two of them in other scents waiting to be used).
8. Nuxe Huile Prodigeuse
I love this oil. It smells amazing and leaves the skin so soft. However, I hate the packaging. It just got so messy. The oil leaked out of the spray nozzle, and the spray was hard to use. I'd repurchase if it came in a clear pump, but the glass bottle with the spray was horrible. I'd repurchase the product, but not repurchase it for the packaging (if that makes sense).
9. Darphin Aromatic Cleansing Balm with Rosewood
This stuff is divine. I love using this on dry skin to give myself a great facial massage. This smells amazing and gives me great grip. Then I rinse off with water. It turns all milky and rinses clean, taking the makeup with it. I love that I don't need a cleansing cloth. I would repurchase.
10. REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask
I do not like this stuff. I hate the smell, I find it to be irritating to the skin, and it doesn't really help with acne. Not worth the hype it gets, and I won't repurchase.
11. La Roche-Posay Serozinc
I'm sad this is gone. This spray is super hydrating and soothing. Too bad we can't get it in the US. When I go back to France, I will repurchase.
12. Marvis Toothpaste in Classic Mint
Marvis makes my favorite toothpaste. The toothpaste itself is awesome, however, I don't like the Classic Mint flavor as much as the Whitening Mint, the Jasmine Mint, or the Cinnamon Mint (all of which I have lined up for me). I would repurchase the toothpaste, but not the classic mint flavor. Go for Jasmine or Cinnamon for sure.
13. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
So not really finished, but this stuff just went bad. I actually think this stuff is great for drying up little zits and white heads, but for now I haven't had the need for pimple products. Maybe when my skin decides not to love me like it's loving me now I'll repurchase.
14. Mario Badescu Drying Cream
This stuff went bad, too. I hardly ever used it because I don't think it really worked for any type of zits. The best zit product from MB is for sure the Buffering Lotion. This, however, is kind of a worthless product. Won't repurchase.
15. Soap and Glory One Heck Of A Blot
I like this powder. It's very finely milled and invisible on the skin. It sets makeup nicely. However, I do kind of like my powders to be more like powder foundations. I have a couple of the Trish McEvoy Even Skin Pressed Powders lined up, so I won't repurchase the Soap and Glory one.
16. Soap and Glory the Archery Brow Pencil
I do like this product. I thought it made filling in brows fairly easy. However, after using the Trish McEvoy brow pencil, I've realized that this Soap and Glory one isn't that great after all. It was hard to fill in small spaces unless using the marker side, and it was a bit gummier in texture. I also didn't like the need for a separate spoolie. I've heard they've changed the product since, though. Anyway, I wouldn't repurchase this version of the Archery.
17. YSL Shocking mascara
I really liked the way this mascara looked, however, it smudged really badly and is scented and expensive. I won't repurchase.
18. Caudalie Lip Conditioner
Best lip balm ever. Even better than Rêve de Miel from Nuxe. Will for sure repurchase next time I'm in France.
19. Sample of Kat Burki Tuberose body cream
This stuff is divine. It's so hydrating and firming, yet it sinks into the skin completely. I love the smell, too. If it weren't so expensive or if I weren't poor, I'd totally purchase it.
20. Calvin Klein Smokey Wood candle
This candle is amazing. It fills the room with a soft smokey scent, and burns cleanly and evenly. I would repurchase.
21. The Balm Concealer in Light
This was almost done when I dropped it behind the dresser, never to be seen again. This is my third of these concealers I've gone through. The product itself is amazing, however, the lids of all of the ones I've had have broken on me. I'm over the packaging, so I won't be purchasing again.
22. Deluxe sample of the Trish McEvoy Lash Enhancement serum
This stuff is actually really amazing. It totally works; it made my lashes fuller, longer, and thicker. However, in order for it to work, you really need to be good about using it every day. I ran out of the sample, but the tube, like that concealer, fell behind my dresser. I wouldn't repurchase for the price and because my lashes aren't that bad, but if your lashes are short and need a helping hand, this totally does work.
23. Sample of Ahava Mineral Botanic Rich Body Butter Hibiscus and Fig
This is by far one of my favorite body creams. It smells freaking amazing, sinks into the skin, and hydrates superbly. It's expensive though, so for now I'd probably not repurchase. I'll probably ask for it for my birthday or something though.
24. Lush Porridge Soap
I really like this soap. It smells good and lathers great. However, I didn't like the squeaky (literally) clean feeling after, and it's probably the messiest soap I have ever used. It leaves bits of oatmeal everywhere. Not going to purchase.
