I'm a big fan of sunscreen. It's one of the best things you can do for your future skin, as it prevents sun damage, our biggest ager.
(It's a given that you shouldn't smoke - that would be even worse for your skin). I also use sunscreen in order to prevent bad hyperpigmentation from any blemishes I might have. I tend to go for a pretty high broad-spectrum SPF (above 30) and a chemical sunscreen, which I find look better on the skin because they don't leave a white cast.
I've tried the untinted version of the Shiseido Urban Environment SPF, and I absolutely loved it. It had a non-oily finish, and it was the best sunscreen I had ever tried. I saw this one at Sephora, however, and I was interested in the tint and slightly higher SPF (like only 1 SPF higher...).
This one has chemical and physical sunscreens in it. And yes, it does flash back in photos. The tint is sheer, but I find it does actually make a difference in evening the tone of your skin.
I used the sunscreen right after my serum, as kind of a tinted moisturizer. It's more hydrating than the regular Urban Environment and more like a lotion than a liquid. While still more hydrating, it didn't make me oily at all. It matched my light - medium skin tone really well and blended easily. It worked really well under makeup and lasted throughout the day, and I really really liked it.
I like the nozzle, too because it lets you get the perfect amount of product and prevents bacteria from getting into the tube.
I finished the whole tube in about two and a half months, and I definitely would repurchase. It's a bit of an investment, but I'm used to spending slightly more when it comes to good skincare.
