Updated: My everyday makeup

As I've mentioned many times on this blog, when it comes to my everyday makeup, I don't have time to experiment. I'll always put more time into my skincare routine because that's important to me and making sure that I don't have to wear much makeup in the first place!

So after I've applied my sunscreen, I use my fingers and slap on my favorite concealer, theBalm timeBalm (I'm using Light right now which works for me, but Light-medium is still the closest shade to my skin tone). The warmth from my fingers really helps blend the product into the skin, especially the eye area. With this concealer, I always make sure to keep my eye area hydrated so it doesn't look drier. However, because it does normally have a dry consistency, this concealer is perfect for covering any blemishes or hyper pigmentation. It really just does it all.

I then apply the Bourjois Healthy Balance powder in 53 Light Beige all over to set the concealer and mattify the skin. If I need more of a matte finish in my t-zone after this, sometimes I'll dab on some of the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot.

Since the powder is a bit dark for me right now, after I'm finished my face is darker than my neck. I remedy this by mixing the Kiko bronzer with the La Roche-Posay Toleriane powder and bronzing my neck (both of which I don't like separately, but work fine together). I use the same mix to contour in all the usual places.

I go into my blush after that. I'm currently obsessed with this Natural Collection one in Peach Melba. I picked it up at Boots when I went to London. It's cheap as chips, and it's gorgeous. It just gives me a natural glow, and it applies really nicely. I'm very impressed with this one.

Before eyeshadow I always fill in my brows. I feel like it helps me to not overdo it with the shadow. Right now I'm using the Soap and Glory Brow Archery pencil in Brownie Points as opposed to my usual matte brown eyeshadow. The pencil has two sides: a pen and a waxy pencil. I like both sides, but when I'm being really quick, I just use the pencil side then brush out any excess with a spooley.

Again, nothing new: my lazy shadow of choice is still the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. It gives you a put-together eye look in no time with no effort. I'm scraping the sides of the jar right now because I use this so much.

I skip the liner in my everyday makeup and just go straight to mascara. I'm currently using the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill. I like the brush and how it applies, and I like the look it gives me. However, it smudges. I have drugstore mascaras that have better longevity than this, so it's safe to say I won't be repurchasing. I was lucky to get this half priced anyway. I would be very disappointed if I'd paid full price for this.

Last but not least, I finish with lip balm. I'm scraping the insides out of the Fresh Sugar Berry lip treatment right now, but usually I use a color-less balm.

So this is what I wear basically everyday! Sometimes I'll change it up for when I go out, but this takes me from day to night as well if I need it to.

What are your everyday staples?
