Bite-sized beauty (what's in my travel toiletry/makeup bag)

Living in Europe, you get the opportunity to take some small weekend trips. With those small trips, you need to pack just as small beauty products. Here are mine that I packed for my weekend trip to Amsterdam.

When I travel, I pack a mini shampoo and conditioner (like these ones from Dove and Tresemmé), a body wash (I'm using Calm One Calm All from Soap and Glory), and something to multitask as a body and hair oil. I'm busting out the Caudalie Divine Oil for this trip; I'll let you know how it goes. I also have the Phyto 9 hair cream that I'm finishing up.

I of course pack my contacts and my favorite Marvis toothpaste in the jasmine flavor (Marvis has travel  toothpastes, but I only have a bit of this left to finish, so I'm just rolling up the tube I have to fit in my bag).

Then I have all my skincare essentials: a Nuxe micellar water (because I want to finish it up, not because I actually like micellar waters), a mini REN micro polish cleanser, decanted toner, Caudalie eye cream, mini REN serum, and a mini Garancia night cream. I also have my SPF 60.

I also have my Dove deodorant, vitamins, tooth brush, cotton rounds, q-tips, scrubby towel, hair brush, and hair clip.

I'll be keeping my makeup pretty simple with a grand total of six products (my lip balm stays in my purse and is not shown). I have the Soap and Glory Kick-Ass Concealer because it has two concealers and a powder in it. Handy, right? I packed the Sleek Face Form palette because it's sleek (heh) and has a bronzer, blush, and highlighter (I'll suck up the fact that I hate this blush and just use it for convenience). I also packed my favorite eye shadow, Bad to the Bronze from Maybelline (can you tell how much I use this one?), the Brow Archery from Soap and Glory, and the Armani Eyes to Kill mascara, which I don't necessarily like, but it's what I'm currently using.

I then packed five brushes: powder, bronzer, blush, brow, and liner (for applying the cream shadow to the bottom lash line). All packed in the Real Techniques case.

We'll see if I end up actually taking/using the shower stuff. Sometimes hostels have weird showers, and if I'm only going for a couple nights, I'll just take a perfume shower (sounds gross, I know, but this is real life, people. Traveling is not glamorous).

What's in your travel bag?
