Lush Lust: Honey Trap Lip Balm

Heads up: this isn't a rave. I may be the only person who strongly dislikes this lip balm, which is pretty sad because I love Lush products in general.

This stuff completely dries out the lips. I was using it this winter, and I had no clue what was making my lips so dry/scaly/peely/nasty. It was Honey Trap. It's a beeswax lip balm, which is only a barrier really, not a moisturizer. Once I switched to my Desert Essence Lip Rescue, my lips were fine and soft again.

I don't like the packaging either. I rather dislike dipping my fingers into a pot of lip balm; sticks are much better to use. It's also not a lip balm that's easy to get out of the pot. It's pretty stiff, so it doesn't transfer onto the fingers or lips easily.

The only thing positive I can say about this is that it smells amazing. That's it though.

I might finish Honey Trap eventually in the summer months when my lips aren't as dry anyway, or I might use it on my feet as a barrier between my skin and high heels. This stuff is horrible.

Not to mention this is super expensive. $6.95 for a lip balm? No thanks. It may have been worth it if it worked as well as it smells good.

What do you think about Honey Trap? I know a lot of people do like it...
