I feel like when it comes to the beauty world, I'm a little bit more into the skincare part of it. Makup-wise, I try to keep it pretty simple. I got the Muji 5-drawer a while back (it's amazing), and surprisingly (almost) all of my makeup fits into it.
In the top drawer I keep most of my face stuff. I have a Trish McEvoy medium planner page in there with my Trish McEvoy SPF 15 powder, Face Shaper 1 blush and highlighter (I use the highlighter all over my lid as shadow), blush in Easy Going, and eye shadow in Almond. It also houses a matte brown Dior shadow that I use in my brows and my Wet 'n' Wild Brulée shadow that I use as concealer.
I have the Sleek Contour palette. I like the contour shade, but I could care less about the blush and highlight in it. There's a Makeup Forever powder sample and a Tarte blush sample under my Trish page.
I also have the NYC Smooth Skin Sunny Bronzer. It's alright, but I'd rather spend the extra and get the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer, of which I have a deluxe sample size in the back of the drawer (still haven't made a dent in that even though I use it all the time).
I also have the Kiko bronzer in this drawer. I use it sometimes, but if a friend wants it, I'll gladly pass it along to her. I have a Sephora concealer that Sephora sent to me by accident and a Kiko concealer, both of which I still have not tried.
Lastly, I have the Soap & Glory Kick Ass concealer in the light shade. It's okay, but I reach for my Wet 'n' Wild Bruleé shadow way more.
In the second drawer I keep mostly eye stuff (wand form).
I have the Trish McEvoy Finish Line, a sharpener, Classic Eye Pencils in Black and Grey, two deluxe samples of the Intense Gel Liners in Black and Deep Aubergine, two 24 hour shadow liners (Smokey Emerald and Smokey Quartz), and an Eye Base Essentials in Bare (my second tube).
I also have the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Kohl in Nude. I love this for my waterline.
I have my Elf eyelid primer in Sheer and my Covergirl Professional Super Thick Lash mascara.
I also have a few backup mascaras. I'll be trying Maybelline the Rocket next, and I have the Makeup Revolution Viper mascara (I'm excited to try that one - the brush looks insane). I wanted to try the Covergirl Professional Remarkable mascara, which I heard is even better than the Super Thick. I had a dream about it (weird, I know), so I figured I had to get it, right? I also have a deluxe sample of the Makeup Forever Smoky lash Extravagant that came as part of the Sephora birthday gift.
In the middle drawer I just keep my Z-palette, which is mostly Wet 'n' Wild shadows, some Dior, and a Nars duo. I have a brow growth serum from Wink that I don't really like that much, but I'm hanging onto it in case I have a friend that wants to try it.
I keep all my Urban Decay Dupe palettes in the second-to-last drawer. I have the MUA Undressed 1 and 2, the MUA matte palette, the MUA Smokin' palette. I also have Makeup Revolution's dupe for the Naked 3 palette, which I love.
In the bottom drawer I keep my lip stuff and then anything that didn't fit in the others.
I have two Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Sticks, which are up for grabs for any of my friends who might want them.
I have two Nars deluxe sample lip pencils (Sephora VIB gift) in Cruella and Rikugien. I like both of them, but I need to find a sharpener that works with them.
I have a mini Makeup Forever lipstick that was part of the birthday gift with the mascara from Sephora. The color isn't me, but I'll hang onto it just in case someone else wants it.
I also have the Makeup Forever red lipstick that I bought in France, and I have my Trish McEvoy lipstick in Sheer Mulberry (my all-time favorite).
I also keep the Trish McEvoy Azure palette in this drawer (it has 4 shadows, a blush, bronzer, and two lipsticks) along with two mini Trish pages (one with a small translucent powder and Dual Sunlit Bronzer, the other with a backup SPF 15 powder and my blushes in Pink Glow and Natural).
Only two products don't fit into my Muji drawers. The elf HD powder, which is really good, wouldn't fit, and my Nuxe lip balm doesn't fit.
I keep these and my most-used brushes on a mirrored tray (my other brushes are in a roll in another drawer).
But yeah. That's all the makeup I have and use. Honestly, I think I have too much. I get some gratis from my job as a makeup artist, and what I don't use I try to give away. In the blogger world, however, it probably doesn't look like I have anything.
Anyway, I just wanted to do this post because a)they're my favorite to watch/read (I'm nosy), b)you can request things from here for me to review, and c)it's cool to see how other people store their stuff and get ideas. Not bragging (there's not much to brag about anyway).
Let me know if you want to hear more about the products mentioned!
*Update*
Did not like Maybelline The Rocket Mascara at all (it sprinkled black flakes and smudges in weird spots under my eyes).
Tried the Makeup Forever N9 Lipstick from the Sephora gift and LOVE it. It looks much better on than in the tube. Perfect "your lips but better" color.
