For some reason it feels like it's been forever since I've done empties. There are so many things I've used up (and replaced...maybe I'll do a haul later?) so this might be a long one...
I recently used up my Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm. I was so excited to get my hands on this stuff in London, but honestly, I can't say I'll repurchase. I just don't think it's worth a) the hype or b) $50. The texture is nice, and you can rinse it off well with no residue, but I'm not too keen on the smell, and it doesn't work more miracles than coconut oil when it comes to removing makeup.
I also finished a tube of the Natura Bissé Diamond Ice Lift. This was just a half-used tester my boss gave me from our store. I liked how cool it felt on the skin, and peel-off masks are super neat. However, I don't think my skin is old enough to notice a difference (I have clients that say it works wonders, though), so I wouldn't purchase it.
I finished my second little 1.7 oz Trish McEvoy Long-Wear Face and Eye Makeup Remover. This is better than any micellaire water I have ever used. It gets most makeup off and still doesn't feel drying. I'm working on the big 3.4 oz one now. I might not repurchase once the big one runs out just because I prefer using a cleanser and water for makeup removal, but if you want a lazy-night solution or a liquid makeup remover, this is the best I've used.
I finished two deluxe samples of the Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster Eye Serum. These two samples lasted me forever. I can't even imagine how long the full size bottle of this would last. I love this stuff. It makes my brows and lashes grow fast and healthy, it de-puffs, and it really hydrates the eye area without any weird texture. Once I'm out of all my other eye creams I'm using, I could see myself purchasing the full size.
I also finished the Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster Serum. I love this stuff. It's super hydrating and makes my skin feel amazing. I have so many serums to get through though, so I can't see myself purchasing this in the near future. I also may want a serum that does a bit more than just hydrating.
I used up a bottle of the Eight Lavender Body Moisture. This stuff lasted unusually long for a lotion (a bonus, of course). It's really thick stuff, so I have to spend a long time working it into my skin (it's not like the Vaseline lotions or the Ahava ones which absorb super quickly). However, this lotion makes my skin super soft and fixes my dry heels over night. It's an incredible treatment. I already am on my second bottle, but in the Ginger Lime scent. Once that's done, I might not repurchase just because I like cheaper body lotions.
It's hard to get through fragrance, but I finally finished the Alex and Ani (+) Energy Scent 7 Body Mist. My friend Giedre gave this to me this summer because she didn't like it. I did like the smell, however. It's very earthy. Almost like the Tata Harper Irritability aromatherapy roller ball. I won't repurchase because I'm trying to use all my perfumes up and then exclusively use my Molecule 01 perfume.
I also used up the Revlon Lash Potion Waterproof Mascara (accidentally pictured twice). I hated this stuff, and did a full review here. So yeah, not repurchasing.
I finished a couple samples of the Glosse Moderne Shampoo and Conditioner. These smell amazing (like real, raw coconut). The shampoo lathers (sulfate-free though!) and cleans really well. However, I have super thick hair, and these don't weigh it down enough. If you have fine hair though, you'll love this line. It's very clarifying and gives a ton of lift at the roots. Also makes hair super shiny. I just won't purchase because I need something heavy like Free Your Mane.
I also finished sample of the Tata Harper Nourishing Oil Cleanser, Purifying Cleanser, and Moisture Mask. All three are freaking DIVINE. I will be purchasing the full sizes of all of these once they come out in the store I carry, and once I've used up a bit more of my current skincare stash. The oil cleanser gets rid of all makeup and rinses clean, yet my skin still feels hydrated, the purifying cleanser makes my skin feel detoxified almost, and the mask is so hydrating yet gets rid of blemishes. Amazing.
I used up the last of my Deborah Milan Bronzer. It ended up cracking and going everywhere at the very end. It was okay. Wouldn't repurchase, especially not after having fell in love with the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil.
I also polished off a little Kat Burki Ocean Mineral Wash sample. This face wash is really awesome. It doesn't lather too much, but still makes your face feel clean, yet hydrated. I would purchase the full size, but not before I purchase the Tata Harper cleansers and used up my stash.
I sadly finished the Garancia Diabolique Tomate Water Cream. This is such a great day moisturizer. It hydrates, but it also controls oil. Next time I'm in France I'll be stocking up.
I used up the Darphin Hydraskin Light moisturizer. I like this. It's a gel-cream texture. Super hydrating yet not greasy. However, I'd purchase the Garancia Water Cream before repurchasing this.
I used up the last of my Trish McEvoy Weekly Peels. I already did repurchase these. They are incredible. I use one, go to bed, and wake up with awesome skin.
I finished the Trish McEvoy Gentle Cleansing Wash. This is kind of drying, and I don't really think it's worth the price. I wouldn't repurchase.
I finally got through the Soap and Glory Fab Pore. Full review here. Wouldn't repurchase. I just kind of got bored of it.
I also finished the Bio Beauté by Nuxe Detox Mask. I really like this and would repurchase the next time I'm in France. Full review here.
I finished up a bar of the Lush Sea Vegetable soap (not pictured). I would repurchase. Reviews of all the Lush soaps I've tried here.
I used up the rest of my Tresemmé travel-size conditioner. It was alright. Nothing special, and I'd probably not repurchase.
I finished up a travel size of the Clarins Body Tonic Oil that I got in a set from Sephora. I liked how this stuff toned my skin, however, I hate the smell. It smells like bug spray or something. I also think it irritated the nether regions... Would not purchase the full size.
I used up a Clark's Botanicals Moisture Mask deluxe sample. I didn't really think this was anything special, especially after using the Tata Harper Moisture Mask. It has mineral oil in it, hydrates just okay, I didn't really enjoy the smell that much (it was kind of artificial), and I think it might have broken me out a tiny bit. Would not get the full size.
I finished up a bunch of foil packets as well, one being the Nude Perfect Cleanse Omega Cleansing Jelly. I didn't like this at all. Makeup removing ability was average, it didn't rinse clean all the way (residue), and I did not like the smell at all. Wouldn't purchase.
I used up a packet of the First Aid Beauty Cleanser. I don't understand the hype. I find this didn't remove makeup all that well, and it dried out my skin a lot. I would not purchase.
I ordered a horrible BHA exfoliant from Paula's Choice (that needs its own separate rant), and it came with some samples. I tried the Hydralight One Step Face Cleanser. This is like the Clinique liquid soaps or even the Trish McEvoy Gentle Cleansing wash. It's drying, and I would not purchase.
I also used up the packet of the Paula's Choice Resist Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Serum. I noticed no difference in my skin. Honestly, I haven't really liked anything I've tried from Paula's Choice so far. I wouldn't purchase this or anything from PC again.
I used up a packet of the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Radiance Lotion. This smells like the cleanser: like pickle/cucumber. I actually did think this made my skin look radiant. It was hydrating, yet it didn't make me oily. It's possible that I'd purchase the full size after going through more of my skincare. It's actually not that expensive either.
My Sephora order also came with a Soap and Glory Make Yourself Youthful 6-in-1 Super Serum sample. I don't know why it's 6-in1, but I sorta liked it. It was hydrating and smelled nice. I don't know if I'd purchase it though over any other serum.
Whew. That was long.
What was the last thing you used up?
