So you know when you go into a store for one really small thing and end up leaving with way more than you intended? That's what happened here. I needed to go to the pharmacy because I ran out of my shower gel, but I ended up walking out with a whole lot of things. I'll just start with the shower gel because it's what I actually went in for.
I got the Caudalie Thé Des Vignes scent this time, as I've already used Fleur de Vigne and Pêche de Vigne. Gotta change it up right? The scent's a little bit deeper than the two mentioned above, and it's just kind of warm and cozy. I really like it, and I have my eye on the perfume...
My hair's been in need of some love lately (thanks, Klorane), so I went for the Phyto 9 considering it's a cult kind of product. I just put it in my hair now. It has a lighter consistency, not what I was expecting from a moisturizing leave-in product, but we'll see how it goes. It has a nice fresh scent. Nothing dramatic though. Also, this came with two tubes for a really good price. I couldn't resist.
I've been eyeing the Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum for years. Literally. I've used so many samples of it and loved it so much. I just could never bring myself to buy it because it's pretty expensive. However, in France, it's only about 47 bucks, and this pack came with a free Soleil Divin sunscreen. I had to get it, and I'm really really glad I did. The glass bottle feels so amazing in my hands, the product smells really fresh and fruity, and I know I like the product because I've used it before.
I went to Marseille this weekend and had to get some sunscreen for my body before going to the
beach. I just ran into a supermarket and picked out the Garnier Ambre Solaire. I like the concept of a sunscreen oil, and I do like the product. You just spray a bit on your skin, rub it in, and it leaves you with a nice glow and soft scent (reminiscent of Jo Malone Vanilla & Anise). It does wash off in the water after a bit, so like any sun care product, reapply after an hour or two. What I don't like is the price. This stuff is dang expensive (almost 14 euro) for something that you can get at a supermarket, and I went to the pharmacy later, and they had a Vichy sunscreen and after-sun pack for only 9.99 euro. I was kind of kicking myself for picking this up after seeing that.
Last little things aren't from any kind of pharmacy, but they're from a cute little shop in Avignon. These perfume oils were only 2 euro each, and they smell delicious and very natural. I'm loving the mint especially, but the rest are amazing, too, of course.
So this is what I've been spending my money on! I'll update y'all later with how things are working for me.
