I've had samples of it before, and I've always enjoyed using them. I'm glad I was finally able to get my hands on a couple travel sized tubes for a decent price, because let's be real, the stuff ain't cheap.
Now, it's hard to explain, but every time I use this, it just makes my skin look good. It seems like the morning after the night I use this my skin is clear, dark spots seem to be diminished, and I feel like I won't need to go heavy with the makeup. I usually think cleansers don't do much to your skin aside from taking stuff away, but this does actually do something to really just brighten the skin while not leaving it dry. One of the main ingredients is soy, which helps clear up dark spots, but I'm surprised that it can be so effective in just a cleanser.
The cleanser itself has an interesting consistency. It's kind of a watery/milky gel. It foams slightly, but not your traditional sulfate-packed bubbles-up-the-nose foam. It is sulfate free, by the way (the foaming agent is coco glucoside, which comes from coconuts), so it will maintain the pH of your skin. Must be another reason why my skin always looks so nice after using it.
The cleanser is a multi-tasker, too. It washes away all makeup, so when I travel, this is the only stuff I bring with me. I wash once with it to get rid of my makeup, and a second time on my Clarisonic for that deep clean.
Smell is one of the biggest deciding factors for me when it comes to my cleansers. The smell of this was iffy for me at first, but it's grown on me. It has cucumber in it, and that's what it smells like. Sometimes it gets on the pickle-y side, but it doesn't bother me. It's just very natural and spa-like.
Would I say this is worth the price tag? Definitely. A little goes a long way, so if you get the big tube, you'll get a good amount of product for your money. Also, this stuff is just too damn good. You only get one face. Take care of it.
