7 and 8. Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo and Conditioner | 9. Aura Cacia Argan Oil | 10. Mehandi Oil | 11. Rahua Finishing Treatment sample |
19. Darphin Purifying Foam Gel with Licorice | 20. Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie | 21. Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Leave-in Conditioning Cream |
It's that time again, and like usual, I have a bunch to show you, so I'll hop right in.
1. I love L'Occitane hand creams, and as a cream, this was really nice. It made my hands soft and wasn't greasy. However, not a fan of the smell. I don't like rose. So I will repurchase the hand creams from L'Occitane, just not this scent.
2. This shower gel is okay. You need a lot for a decent lather. It doesn't strip the skin, but doesn't leave it perfectly hydrated either. The scent is pretty refreshing, but I was glad to move onto something new. I won't be repurchasing. (I don't even know if this scent is available anymore anyway).
3. This travel size lasted me forever. Just a little bit gets a great lather. The scent was so relaxing and pretty. It smelled like it had some jasmine in it, too, which I love. I want to try other scents from Molton Brown, so I don't know if I'll repurchase this right away, but it's definitely possible in the future.
4. This perfume is really nice. It's very sweet, so if that's not your thing, you might not like it. It's a very fresh and green scent. Very soft and great for day/spring/summer. It lasts all day and is very addicting. I have some perfumes I want to finish at the moment though, so I won't be running out to purchase it.
5/6. The hand cream from Deborah Lippmann is amazing. Non-greasy, but very moisturizing. The scent is okay, fresh and floral. It's also really nice that it's an SPF, because hands show the first signs of aging (because we don't use SPF on them). The foot cream is really nice, too. Again, not greasy, and works really well. It smells like cake, too, which is always nice. I don't know if I'll purchase these right now because I have other hand creams and lotions I want to use up, but maybe in the future...
7/8. I will never ever purchase liter sizes again. I got so sick of these that I was using double the amount anyone actually needs just to get rid of it. I ran out of the conditioner well before the shampoo (one pump will get even the longest hair clean) so I had to use a Tresemmé one to finish with the rest of that (I didn't care for that conditioner either, although it wasn't as bad (even though I did mention it in a favorites post, as I used it up, I stopped liking it). The scent of these is really nice, like a piña colada. The conditioner has a weird consistency, more serum-y than thick and moisturizing. As far as hydration goes, this dried my hair out and, therefore, did nothing to tame frizz. I have another couple of big bottles from Costco of the Self-Absorbed shampoo and conditioner (that I got at the same time as these, stupidly), so we'll see how I like those in comparison, but I won't be buying these again.
9. I have a full review of this here, so I won't go into depth. I will say though, the pump started to break on me, which was annoying, so I'll probably try a different brand of Argan oil next time.
10. Mehandi oil is really good for making hair really shiny and taming some frizz. I've had this forever though, so it kind of smelled rank, like insect repellant gone bad. But it did make my hair nice. I'll probably purchase Argan oil before this though.
11. I just had a little sample, but from what I can tell, this hydrated my ends pretty well and helped tame some frizz. The smell is interesting and definitely took me a while to get used to, but it the end, I liked it. I don't know if I'll run out and buy this because it is expensive, and I love Free Your Mane hair products better ultimately.
12. I mentioned this in this empties post.
13. This mask was okay. It absorbed some oil well, but it didn't do much else. I won't repurchase.
14. This is a nice serum, and it does hydrate and make the skin smooth. However, it would pill up depending on the other products I was using at the time. I'll only repurchase if I need some cheap hydrating serum, but for now, I won't.
15. This is my favorite SPF moisturizer as of now. It sinks into the skin and gives it great moisture without breaking me out or making me oily. You can use other moisturizers under it, too, if you need an extra boost. When I finish my next SPF, I'll probably go get this again.
16. I got this in a deluxe sample bag, and I did like it. It does kind of give your face a fresh glow and help slightly with any spots. I don't think I'll purchase the full size though, because I think the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask is better and more multi-use. A little of this does go a long way, though, which is nice.
17. This eye cream is actually pretty good for the drugstore. A little bit goes a long way, it's hydrating, and it does help a bit with some fine lines. However, I have my Natura Bisse Eye Recovery Balm that I'm obsessed with and works so well, so I won't be repurchasing this anytime soon. Obviously, Natura is expensive even though it is amazing, so this is a good cheap option, just not as good.
18. I am obsessed with Tata Harper in general, and I LOVE this facial oil. I use this on any dry patches or acne, and it just helps everything heal and properly moisturizes the skin. This is especially great for minimizing any under the skin bumps. It just makes my skin so glowy. I will definitely purchase the full size. Love this stuff.
19. I'm sad to see this cleanser go. It just cleans the skin so well without stripping, and it helps a lot with any blemishes. However, I have a bunch of cleansers to go through right now, so I won't be repurchasing yet. It is definitely an option in the future though.
20. I wrote a review on this here, but I am glad to have finally used this up. There's a ton of product in the rest of the tube that you could get out with a lip brush, but this wasn't worth the hassle for me. I won't repurchase any of the Revlon Lip Butters.
21. Finally, we've reached the end! I really liked this treatment from Garnier. It smells amazing, and it does really make the hair soft and help smooth out frizz. It wasn't so amazing that I'll repurchase before trying any other products, but I did like it, and it is worth a shot. Right now I'm really into oils (as opposed to creams), so I'll probably be onto those for now.
I know that was long, so for those that stuck through, thanks so much! Have a good March, y'all!
